Keith Harvey of Serra Chevrolet in Miamisburg, Ohio is like most general managers these days. He is looking for new ways to sell more cars, financing, and service. “Especially in a down market, anything we can do to make a customer's experience even the slightest bit more memorable should be done, and I believe that can make all the difference for us,” says Harvey.

When Signature Technologies first demonstrated [DEALER DISPLAY SYSTEM] the system to [owner] Don [Pascoe] and me, we got it,” said Harvey. I didn't need to be convinced. These guys know dealerships and they're on to something.”

In just one month, the results are there. Serra Chevrolet increased sales of:

•  Nitrogen inflation by 50 percent through an animated, explanatory promotion run at the service advisor's desk on a 40” LCD-TFT display.

•  In-cabin air filters by 20 percent through a digital image run full screen at the service advisor's desk and in the customer waiting area.

Feedback from customers, gathered through a written on-site survey, indicate the displays are making an impact.

• 100% of respondents noticed the displays

• 90% indicated the display system enhanced the dealership's image

• 89% said the display system made the wait more pleasant

• 56% said the display motivated them to either purchase, inquire about, or consider a product or service promoted

“We are very pleased with the results this system has given us in such a short time,” added Harvey . “The team from Signature Technologies has been great, too. They did a great job installing us and their Content Services organization has produced some very nice, eye-catching multimedia.”
